Today, Birmingham Optical Group lead the way with our new client contact centre consisting of friendly client support personnel as well as skilled engineers to offer telephone assistance as required, access to 200 field engineers country wide mean we can offer six day site attendance as standard Monday – Saturday inclusive (Sunday working available).

We have consistently focused our business on Eye Care. NIDEK has grown to be one of the leading ophthalmic companies in the world, and our products are used in over 100 countries.

There is a basic philosophy we have respected in our daily business. It consists of three elements, - “KIGAI”, “CHIGAI“, and “SEKAI”. Oculus provides support for the challenging daily tasks this group of specialists encounters by developing sophisticated technology-based instruments of the highest quality and by providing them excellent in-serve training on their efficient operation.
The demanding expectations of our customers are in focus of every Oculus undertaking and the satisfaction of these demands is the goal for individual instrument development projects.

in the headquarters, 172 of them in research and development, production and service, 55 of them in management and distribution.
